Hello there everyone - a brief check in for today. I am home and very sore and sorry for myself - it was not as smooth as I had hope it would be, but I was treated very well and with much dignity.
I caught up with some "old friends" and made new ones and was glad to see home again. I have had a very quiet day and will be more talkative tomorrow when I come out of this anesthetic fog a bit more. No driving or signing papers or forms today for me - but tomorrow I shall venture forth - depending how I am feeling.
It is five in the afternoon and I have just showered and got back into my nightdress and gown ready for a very early night. These procedures take it out of me and it takes me a while to bounce back - but bounce back I will.
Today my Daily Gratitude is:
"I am grateful for nurses who treat me with dignity and listen to what I have to say about my condition."
