SEASON OF MIST AND MELLOW FRUITFULNESS

The seasons are changing and I delight in being alive and able to enjoy these changes.    In Australia we are in the beautiful mellow days of autumn with cool nights and sunny days.    I woke this morning to an azure blue sky, sunshine and dew upon the grass.  It is a truly lovely day.

I have been unwell and not blogging but hope to get back into the swing of things very soon.   A busy few weeks ahead with appointments and functions.   Easter for us will be quiet because most of the family is going away or hosting guests for the holiday - but I can cope very well with quiet and mellow days, good books and some television and chocolate of course.

It is school holidays in South Australia and my Great Niece and Great Nephew have been in the City from the Farm and been to the movies to watch
The Lego movie in 3D.

It has been a delight to spend time with them  - they are growing up so quickly and I see such big changes when I only see them every few months.
Grace is very interested in craft and is very creative.

If you have plans for a holiday over Easter I wish you safe travels and a wonderful break from routine, good weather and time with friends and family.

Wherever you are in this lovely world - be it autumn or the beautiful waking up time of spring - bulbs and blossoms, new leaves and warmth - enjoy your days and celebrate your lives.

Be present to each moment and live life to the full.

Thank you for visiting The Musings from my Heart - love and hugs,

THIS IS FRIDAY'S POST ON A SATURDAY

To mark the advent of colder weather - please enjoy Doris Day and Dean Martin

This is what most of the trees around me are looking like and the sky has been very heavy and pewter coloured for a week now and it has rained on most days.   Definitely a sign that winter is just around the corner and "Baby it's cold outside"

Blogger has been having issues for quite a few days, but fortunately and thankfully things seem to be back on an even keel again and I can "blog" again - something I never thought I would do.  Having been blogging since early last year I can positively say I am hooked.  I love it and I love the freedom it gives me to share my life and my days with you.   I started this blog to keep friends and family informed as to how I was going when I came home from hospital after my transplant - and here it is - it has become a place for sharing the "Musings from my Heart" and for letting you know how I am and what I am up to.

For those who don't follow "A Liver for Linda" sharing my visit yesterday to Clinic and Specialist.  ~
Liver Function Tests excellent and some changes in the level of drugs in my blood need to be monitored, but apart from that a great outcome and I am truly grateful for that.

Visits to Clinic make me tired and I have declined an invitation to the Movies and Dinner because I just feel weary and that I should be at home.  Even though that means forgoing an ice cream I am sure it was a wise decision.  I shall miss being out and about with "The Golden Girls" but there will be other times.

I had a very early night last night and managed some good sleep after watching some of "The West Wing" on DVD - a warm bed, a book and television to watch if I need it - BLISS.

It must be cold here because the cat is curled up on a chair inside and she normally spends her days outside in the garden or visiting neighbours (I am sure they feed her too.)  The wind was quite icy this morning at the Shopping Centre so I didn't stay long, didn't visit the Bakery, Coffee Shop or the Goodwill Store today - shopping and then straight home.

If it is still Friday for you I hope you are enjoying the anticipation of the weekend and that you have lovely plans to do things with friends or family.  I enjoy the anticipation as much as the event sometimes.
I hope you can find some sun, some leaves to kick through, a garden to walk in or work in, some flowers and that this coming weekend there is for you a quiet bower:

"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing."

John Keats.

Enjoy your weekend, spread some love about, nurture your soul and spirit and above all be happy.

Love and hugs,
