To mark the advent of colder weather - please enjoy Doris Day and Dean Martin
This is what most of the trees around me are looking like and the sky has been very heavy and pewter coloured for a week now and it has rained on most days. Definitely a sign that winter is just around the corner and "Baby it's cold outside"
Blogger has been having issues for quite a few days, but fortunately and thankfully things seem to be back on an even keel again and I can "blog" again - something I never thought I would do. Having been blogging since early last year I can positively say I am hooked. I love it and I love the freedom it gives me to share my life and my days with you. I started this blog to keep friends and family informed as to how I was going when I came home from hospital after my transplant - and here it is - it has become a place for sharing the "Musings from my Heart" and for letting you know how I am and what I am up to.
For those who don't follow "A Liver for Linda" sharing my visit yesterday to Clinic and Specialist. ~
Liver Function Tests excellent and some changes in the level of drugs in my blood need to be monitored, but apart from that a great outcome and I am truly grateful for that.
Visits to Clinic make me tired and I have declined an invitation to the Movies and Dinner because I just feel weary and that I should be at home. Even though that means forgoing an ice cream I am sure it was a wise decision. I shall miss being out and about with "The Golden Girls" but there will be other times.
I had a very early night last night and managed some good sleep after watching some of "The West Wing" on DVD - a warm bed, a book and television to watch if I need it - BLISS.
It must be cold here because the cat is curled up on a chair inside and she normally spends her days outside in the garden or visiting neighbours (I am sure they feed her too.) The wind was quite icy this morning at the Shopping Centre so I didn't stay long, didn't visit the Bakery, Coffee Shop or the Goodwill Store today - shopping and then straight home.
If it is still Friday for you I hope you are enjoying the anticipation of the weekend and that you have lovely plans to do things with friends or family. I enjoy the anticipation as much as the event sometimes.
I hope you can find some sun, some leaves to kick through, a garden to walk in or work in, some flowers and that this coming weekend there is for you a quiet bower:
"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing."
John Keats.
Enjoy your weekend, spread some love about, nurture your soul and spirit and above all be happy.
Love and hugs,

Don't those trees look amazing! The changes in seasons is highlighted in our trees.
They are definite "snuggle time" trees now
