EASTER SATURDAY AND THE LIVING IS EASY

Good Afternoon and welcome to Easter Saturday in my little corner of the world and it is a truly beautiful autumn day, some blue sky, some cloud, a little wind and beautiful autumn leaves.  Enjoy Nat King Cole singing Autumn Leaves.

I went to a movie with friends yesterday afternoon and we saw "Lincoln Lawyer" (well they saw all of it and I saw only some because I fell asleep for a while).  Then dinner at Dianne's home - beautiful relaxed and it was great to share laughter and memories.  Thank you Dianne for a lovely meal.  We did have a  bit of a worry when Ilona has an FFFT (fainting fit and funny turn)  from which she recovered quickly and well - but please Ilona see your Doctor soon and be sure to mention it.

It was a late night home - oh the sheer indulgence of it all - two late nights in a row - and today I am feeling very tired,  but have done all that I have to do and now only remains to be done the things I choose to do.
I have done a little shopping, checked up on Ilona and had coffee there - now lunch at home and then whatever takes my fancy for the rest of the day.

This Saturday is in the middle of a long Easter break and it is easy to notice that with the roads being quieter and although the shops were quiet early, driving past on the way home I noticed the car park was full.  It is lovely to have things to choose to do - I can read, watch a DVD, curl up and have a sleep  - who knows where the path will lead me today.  It is truly lovely to have the peace around me and the opportunity to do or not to do things as I choose.

I hope there is peace and calm in your little corner of the world sprinkled with good conversation, laughter and the joy of family and friends.  If you are home alone for the Easter break I hope that you can truly enjoy your own time and space, taking the time to nourish and nurture yourself.  Oh the bliss of coffee and a mocha hot cross bun after lunch.  The lovely feeling of heavy eyes and knowing that you are about to give in to sleep.

Some time this weekend I am going to walk in the park and by the river and see the autumn leaves of red and gold, smell the damp earth and watch the river running by on it's journey to the sea.  I shall try to take some photographs to share with you.

"I am grateful for friendship and laughter."

Tomorrow we are having breakfast with Elizabeth (a distant cousin of mine) and her husband Dave - we haven't met Dave so that will be exciting times for us all.  Liz and I have always been close and I haven't seen her for a very long time and was not able to go to Melbourne for her wedding.  Special time tomorrow and I am quite excited about it.

Enjoy your Saturday however you spend it - find laughter, love and happy times - make sweet music your theme tune and dance on the wind.

Love and hugs, and thank you for taking the time to visit 'The Musings from My Heart."

For someone who was having a quiet Easter, you sure are busy! Enjoy the company and the friendships but make sure you take care of yourself and rest too.

(Goodness I sound like a Mother Hen, oh well I will go lay you an egg for Easter)

A nap during the movie? Does that mean it does not get a good review?
May there be no more FFFT"s and you can all relax and soak up the atmosphere

Hugs, Lynne
