Good Morning and welcome to Friday in Adelaide - a cloudy day and the weather is one thing over which we have no control - the forecast for London on their Friday morning is for cloud and the possibility of rain. I doubt that the weather will spoil this day for William and Catherine - there could be a lot of wet people on the streets of London but that will not dampen their enthusiasm.
It is a day we have been anticipating for what seems forever and now it is here.
Congratulations to the lovely couple and my wishes are for love and laughter and a long and happy life together.
The people mentioned below will be very nervous and excited - imagine getting the enormity of the event through to three year olds.

and just to prove nothing much changes over the years - a much Older Wills:
Kate's Maid of Honor
Drum roll, please ... Kate's maid of honor will be her sister, Philippa Middleton (known as "Pippa"). No real surprise here, as Pippa, just a year older than her sister, is close to Kate.
Kate's Bridesmaids
Kate's bridesmaids are all children, which is traditional for British royal weddings.
Another bridesmaid will be 8-year-old Margarita Armstrong-Jones, daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Linley. Margarita is the only granddaughter of the late Princess Margaret,
Another 3-year-old, Eliza Lopes, will round out the bridesmaid roster. With these little ones, let's hope there are plenty of helpers around. Eliza's father is Andrew Parker Bowles, son of Prince Charles's current wife Camilla.
Prince William's Best Man
Prince William has chosen brother Harry to be his best man.
Prince William's Page Boys
For his page boys William has chosen William Lowther-Pinkerton, age 10, and Tom Pettifer, who is 8.
William ("Billy") Lowther-Pinkerton is the son of William's private secretary and friend, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.
Tom Pettifer is the son of William's beloved former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke, and is William's godchild as well.

There will be ribbons, laces, flowers, hats, beautiful dresses, smart suits, lovely shoes, and lots of things for the whole world to watch - but let's remember that this is a family wedding and I wish the whole family a time of celebration.
I intend to be a little sponge and soak it all up - the music, the pomp and ceremony and my prayers are for safety for the day and for a long and happy life for them.
My thoughts are with the Middleton Family today as they look back on the life of their daughter and I can imagine they are totally overwhelmed at the course her life has taken.
This is their beautiful daughter as a baby:
It is a delight to me to celebrate the love of these two young people and to see the joy in their eyes.
May love and laughter ring through their lives and through the halls of their home.
Thank you for celebrating the Royal Wedding with me and I am so pleased to be at home and able to take the time out to watch this special world news event.
I send love and hugs and thanks for visiting and reading "The Musings of My Heart" - an excited and proud heart today.

such a lovely post adore the photos and intresting to find out about the bridesmaids and page boys i wasnt aware that they where all so young.
Lovely post as always Linda and as Nicole says I didn't realise they were all so young too - gee I hope they don't have 'a bad day' and go awry. I'm guessing these little ones will be prepared for the attention and what is required of them.
Thank you girls - the little ones will do what little ones do - as William did when he was little - note the poking out of the tongue.
This only adds to the charm of the event and is an expression that it is "just a family wedding" with children involved.
Thanks for visiting.
Love and hugs,
Linda.
Linda thanks for sharing. I didnt know a lot about the happy couple. I was happy to read what you wrote about the little ones who were a part of the wedding party. I did watch the wedding this morning and it was beautiful. We sure did need something beautiful for a change instead of always doom and gloom.
Hugs Diane
The children were an absolute delight! I was so pleased to see that (apart from the 2 youngest "handcuffed" to Pippa) were allowed to be children.
I pray that this happy couple remain so and look back on this day regularly and see all the details they missed. The simple things are what will make it more special every time they see it
