SHE COMES AND GOES. GOODBYE RUBY TUESDAY.

What a different post for me - I usually post first thing in the morning and here we are at late on Tuesday Afternoon - so it really is GOODBYE RUBY TUESDAY.

It's been a busy day for me - was at the Hospital early for blood tests and it was the normal thing where they could not find a suitable vein - insisted on trying both arms and then gave up and went for the wrist - which if they had listened to me in the first place would have saved much time and not made those waiting behind me frustrated and late.
Never mind -I did have a lovely chat with the nurse who was taking the blood and with others in the waiting room - and then the joy of Coffee at Lizzie's - always a bonus on "Blood's" Days - it is rather like the jelly bean for the well behaved child.   Coffee for Linda - makes up for all the poking, prodding and needling.

Next appointment was a breeze and I then called in to see if the girls at the hairdressers could tidy me up and make me presentable which of course they did.  Home late morning through busy "road works" traffic and time for some "me" time - so I sat in the car in the warmth and read for a while.  I felt myself dozing off so got out and tried to do some things.    Got the light globes in the bedroom light changed so that's a good day's work.

The wind has been cold today and this City looks as though she has donned her winter gown a little earlier than usual.   It has been in beautiful shades of pewter, silver and grey with icy blue whites - a truly beautiful sky holding no warmth at all.  The evening is closing in already and I have lights on again.

It is lovely for me to be able to drive myself to the Hospital, then travel miles further on to the Hairdresser instead of having to be driven and have someone wait for me.   John has always done this with immense patience and it is nice to him to stay warm on cold morning which helps his arthritis.

The days just go so quickly and I had set an alarm for this morning, but didn't need it - was well and truly awake to turn it off before I listened to my early morning radio serial and then up and shower and out in the cold cold morning air.   I did get some good reading done at the Hospital while I waited and also at the Hairdresser so all in all a good Ruby Tuesday.

All days are 24 hours and yet I seem to fit so much more into some days than others, and some days are more special than others because of the things that happen on those days.  I love Wednesday - my favourite day and yet there is something special about Tuesdays"

"She would never say where she came from
Yesterday don't matter if it's gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes

Goodbye, ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you.."

(Lyrics from Ruby Tuesday)

Here in Australia Tuesday is almost done with Office and Shopping Hours, and only 8 hours left until Wednesday and for those in the Northern Hemisphere Tuesday is on the way.    However you spend/spent the day, whatever you do/did I hope that Tuesday leaves you with nice memories of good times with family, friends, work colleagues and the world in general.   Remember to share your smile. find a song to sing, share some humour and just to say "Goodbye Ruby Tuesday".

Thank you for visiting and reading The Musings from My Heart and I wish you health, happiness and love.

Love and hugs,

Linda

Sounds like a very busy Ruby Tuesday, I spent mine in the creeks which have not dropped in temperature much and all results are pretty good (which means poor for us), so the frogs are happy and pollution not entering the water, a very ruby day for me
