IT'S TUESDAY AND IT'S FOUR IN THE MORNING.

It's four in the morning and another sleepless night for me and of course couldn't resist posting Tom Jones singing that song.  Enjoy!

It is very chilly here in Adelaide but I am sure that once the sun makes her appearance things will warm up - we are promised sunshine and gentle breezes.  The autumn mornings bring joy to my soul.

A lovely quote from these tags:

"Those who look for beauty find it."

And it isn't hard to find - it is there waiting to be discovered - it is in the little things, the things around you - just take the time to discover them for the first time or to rediscover them.

Like most people I like beautiful things and I guess my choices would be different to so many and that's what makes us all special - we are unique in every way.  Our music taste, the things we read and the things we do. But it isn't hard to find beautiful things around you.

Just take a look right now, where you are sitting and see what you can find.
I find a beautiful coffee cup, a necklace made for me by a friend in lovely shades of purple, a single rose picked from my garden, photographs, cards received from friends and that's just on my desk.

There is also beauty in the intangible things - the things that have no physical shape - a promise made and kept, keeping of our word when we make a commitment, not letting others down.

I am an independent soul and it brings beauty to my days when I am able to do something myself that I have previously needed help with.

Life can be very beautiful indeed and the sharing of other's joys without envy, the patience with an aging friend who repeats the same story again and again, a spider web with dewdrops on it - left there because the spider has worked hard and you see beauty there.Beauty often brings me to tears as I am totally overwhelmed by it at times.  The look of something, kind words from a friend, a piece of music that stirs my soul - all beautiful.

I have a beautiful and special photograph to share with you today and it is of two young men and their families - Crosby and Tater who are both liver recipients and I share this because April 8th. will see the first year Anniversary for Crosby and April 15th. for Tater.

They were taking part in the "Green Chair" sit in at Cincinnati Hospital to increase awareness for organ donation.

Those smiles are very beautiful as both families have been through a very rough time but can celebrate life now.

I have a lunch to attend today and it will be very special because for the first time my on line friend Christina and I are meeting.  She is in Adelaide briefly and after sharing so much of our lives on line and supporting each other we are to have that face to face experience.
Some of you will already know 'Stina who is the very talented lady who has designed lots of the tags I use.  We have spoken on the phone and emailed for almost eight years and so today's the day.

I have just looked at the clock and it is already past six now, so while I started this at just after four - where has the time gone ?

I wish you a BEAUTIFUL day in every sense of the word and our world would be much better and happier if we all were to set about to deliberately make it a more beautiful place.  We all have talents and traits that bring out the beauty where we are, but there are things that we can do that will add to the beauty.

Remember to smile, to say thank you to someone for something they did, no matter how small, to make a phone call you have been promising to make, to follow through with arrangements made - remember someone has probably made a lot of plans, don't disappoint them.  All small things, but they add up to large things of beauty and trust.

My daily gratitude is:

"I am grateful to see beauty all around me."

I wish you a very happy Tuesday and I hope the sun shines in your little corner of the world (if not weather wise then at least in your heart.)  Travel safely, care for those you love (and be sure they know you love them) and make this day a "thing of beauty"

"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing."

John Keats

Thanks for stopping by to read the "Musings from My Heart" and I send love and hugs your way.

The looks on all those faces in the Green Chair sit in is absolutely priceless! The love just oozes out of the photograph, so how special for them to actually be feeling it always. Fantastic ambassadors for Organ transplant every one of them.
I am overjoyed by the connection between us in the "little" things, the dew on the grass amongst others and now the spider web.
I have a special spider who weaves his web each day meticulously in the same spot. He is right near my car and we talk often (although he spends most of his day hiding in a leaf up in the tree) I still find him and am constantly amused at the positions he gets himself into, especially when the wind blows.

Thank you for another lovely Blog and I must be off or this will be a Blog on it's own, But can never talk too much about beauty, gratitude and the marvels of our world
Take care and be good to yourself and others, it will be returned 10 fold
