A TUESDAY FOREVER DAY

Welcome to Tuesday and my wish for you is that you stay "Forever Young"

Enjoy Joan Baez singing "Forever Young"

In reality of course that cannot be - but in our hearts we can stay forever young and approach our days with enthusiasm and hope - these are the things I wish for you all.

"Forever Young"

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

Written by Bob Dylan

Physically we age and youth seems to far away, but as far as I am concerned I still feel and think as I did when I was younger.

I still feel the passion for politics and justice and I love to see these traits in the X and Y generations.  I have a "Gen X" and a "Gen Y" daughter and know so many others who belong to these generations and I happily leave the world in their hands as they are incredible people - well educated and so very aware of our world and the plight of it's people.

Dreams of forever live in the heart and I cherish mine and hope you do too.
Some of them will never reach reality but I am holding on to them.  Call me a dreamer - well maybe I am and I love my dreams and hopes.

I hope you have beautiful dreams and plans and schemes for yourself and also for those you love and I hope you are able to keep your mind open to the wonder all around you.

My gratitude for today is:

"I am thankful for my hopes and dreams which keep me forever young."

Laughter and music bring joy and hope to my heart and there is so much to be thankful for that it keeps my mind active and alert and young in attitude.
In spite of the changes in my life, the health routine I must maintain I try to keep my mind active and use crossword puzzles and cryptic crossword puzzles as exercise for my brain. I know that physically I can't stop the aging process but I can keep my mind and attitude bright.

Try to spend time with young people - children will keep you young and sharing time in discussion with younger generations will stimulate your thoughts.

Have a wonderful Tuesday wherever you are and whatever you have to do, I hope you are able to find even a short time to nourish and nurture you soul.  I hope you have time to literally stop and smell the roses, kick through autumn leaves, read some of your book, sit in silence with a lovely cup of coffee, hold the hand of a child and I wish you green lights in traffic, cheerful work colleagues, a bargain at the shops.  I wish for you all the joys I find in the little things around me.

"Give to every human being every right that you claim for yourself."

Robert Green Ingersoll

Sending love and hugs your way with thanks for taking the time to visit "The Musings from my Heart" and may you stay "Forever Young."

Love this blog Linda, and thank you for your good wishes. I especially like the bit about wishing me green traffic lights. Ever had one of those days when they all seem to change to red?

Have a good day yourself and I'll try to check in this evening. hugs Barbara

When they change to red for me - I use that time to breathe deeply and find something to be thankful for from the world immediately around me.

Love and hugs, Linda.

Thank you for the words, I had listened to this song often, sang along but seemed to have missed some of the meaning in doing so, not any more.

I am spending my day doing a walk to admire the seasonal changes, and perhaps a face mask this afternoon, not for the outside but a pamper makes me feel good on the inside and that is where my true age lives.
Wishing you lots of Autumn colour in your day
