Pete Seeger
Good Morning from the safety of my home in my little corner of the world and I have an aching heart this morning for peace in our world. We live in a troubled world and there are many who are rejoicing at the news of the death of Osama Bin Laden and while I believe the world will be better without his evil acts, there are lots of others who have been in training to take up the task. Bin Laden is dead, but his cause is not.
Personally I echo the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. when he said:
We live in a beautiful world, but a troubled world and most of the issues that divide our world are
driven by greed and I encourage each one of you to be a little kinder and more caring of people. We can't change the world but we can change our little corner of it.
My little corner of the world is calm and sunny - a lovely autumn day and I rejoice in so many things that bring light to my days.
I have so much to be thankful for and I clearly acknowledge the grief and pain of those who have lost loved ones in acts of terrorism and it is my prayer that "We shall live in peace"
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing on this May day - try to bring joy to someone else and practice random acts of kindness - you may get to like it - not only will it bring joy to your heart but you will touch another heart.
Thank you for coming by and reading the "Musings from My Heart" and I send love and hugs to you all.
"I am grateful for forgiveness and acceptance"

I love my peaceful corner of the world. Yes it has it's problems, but all in all they are things that don't involve me or affect me.
I wish all the world was calm and peaceful, so i will work on my patch and hope it spreads
