ENOUGH

Good Morning from Adelaide where the weather is deliciously cool and the sky a pale blue with mottled grey clouds and a gentle breeze blowing.   This morning I really noticed how much later the sun was coming up and marked this as a sure sign of the changing of the seasons and that autumn is on her way to us.

Autumn is my favourite time of year "Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness" and those afternoons when suddenly there is a chill in the air and the day is drawing in and it is time to think of warming soups, stews and casseroles.
The days when the slow cooker will be pressed into service in the morning and all day the house will smell of comfort food.   The time of year to get blankets and warmer bed linen out and back on the beds and to find warmer clothes for the days.  Time for hot water bottles or electric blankets.

How blessed we are to have enough - enough food, clothing, shelter, friendship, support and love - I think most of us would honestly say we have more than enough.

We each do enough in our own way to be the support and strength for those we love and care for, for family and friends and there are times when we do more than we should and stretch ourselves to the limit.

To be enough means not to strive to be something that we are not - to just relax and accept ourselves for what we are and to be true to ourselves and it also means taking good care of ourselves too.

No matter where you are today, no matter what is going on in your life and the lives of those around you - I wish you enough.

Thank you for visiting the Musings of My Heart - a heart that is well aware of having enough and doing enough and being enough.

Love and hugs,
