Hi there - checking in much later today - no problems just keeping myself very busy. I have been shopping and spending money like it is going out of style.  Bought two bookcases in kit form to put one each side of my bed - they are supposed to be easy to put together, but it blew my mind.  John put them together very easily - but when I asked him to knit a baby jacket - he just laughed.   Woodwork for him - handcraft for me.  Just made me aware how different we all are - and how important that we acknowledge each others skills and talents.    Bookcases look good and I could fill another half dozen of them with all the books I have collected over the years.

I have made a decision to go through my books and part with some - that's going to be an interesting exercise - I am going to have to be tough with myself and not put them back after I have decided which ones are going.  I am hoping to find some I have forgotten about and can read and enjoy again.

I did buy some satin pillowslips today to match my burgundy sheets and quilt cover - so all in all it has been a good day.  Busy day but a good day.
I am tired now though and will be climbing into bed early again.

Text message from Rebecca and Nick - "All is well in London - off to South Bank today."

Check out the link and see what happens there - I am sure they will find lots of interesting things to do there.  Meals to have, shopping to do.  The joys of being on holiday.

Gosh I am slipping - I have just taken tablets (half an hour late) just so long as it is half an hour before food it is okay.  Which reminds me I have to sort out my medication ready to take to Flinders on Thursday.

Don't know what to have for dinner - but will find something and then have a lovely hot shower and get off to bed - me and my book.

I have had a couple of busy days and on both days have missed Naomi calling in to see me - it doesn't matter, but it makes me sad to not be here and not spend time with her.  Still, she is busy with her study and happy and well and that is all that matters.

Going now to check the freezer and see what I can come up with for an easy dinner - you take care and be safe and enjoy every day of your beautiful life.

Love and hugs,

can't help but think of the bookshelf in the family room, all those "little books"

I still collect the "little books" Rella B and the thought of that "Little shelf" brings mixed emotions.
Time brings healing but memories still sting.

Book shelves are so handy to have and if you pick the right one they really add to a room.

Have a great day Linda
