DREAM WITH ME

Good Afternoon from my little corner of the world where the day is sunny and bright with blue sky and no clouds and a very pleasant cool temperature.
A very pretty day indeed.

A much quieter day for me - no children today so the silence is deafening but compensated with lovely music.

Come sit with me and we'll talk about our dreams - we all have dreams, some more than others.   Dreams, hopes, wishes, plans and schemes.

I'll share the things I dream about and hope for and perhaps it will stir your thoughts and you can open your mind and see what your dreams are.

I dream of a world where children can run free and play in meadows with streams and flowers, where they are safe from harm.   Where every adult is a caring soul and looks out for them.

I dream of a world without war where everyone can live peacefully and happily without greed and violence and have enough food and clean water to drink.   Where disease is unknown and children can grown up into peace loving adults.

Greed does not appear in my dreams - I dream of a place where there is sharing and caring and equality and where the colour of our skin matters not and we all live with respect for our religions and cultural issues.    

I dream of a place where people will take turns and wait and the "me me me" culture does not exist.  Where babies are cherished and loved and never abused, where there is always an adult to care for them.

Medical care is abundant in my dreams and there is no bickering about financial costs, where it is safe to walk the streets day or night.  A place where one can ask for help without the fear of abuse.

I dream of a world full of pencils and paper and books and wonderful teachers, where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

I dream of a world where I can have trust in the word of my Government, where all people are equal and where the rich don't get richer and the poor poorer.  A place where justice prevails and everyone is treated fairly.
Where there are jobs for all and appropriate training is provided.

In the world I dream about people use manners and have respect and will always do a kind deed.   Where everyone acknowledges that we all carry a burden of some kind and will offer kindness and as helping hand.

Wouldn't it be a wonderful world ?  

I clearly acknowledge that I can't change the world, but what I can do is to make life sweeter, kinder and happier in my little corner of it.   I resolve to do this - to laugh a little more, to be kinder, more loving and giving and I believe if we all do this, the world will be a better place.   Share what you can of yourself, give a smile as you pass someone in the shopping centre - you may well be the only contact they have for that day.  Be generous with your time, stop and talk with someone, offer to fetch something for a neighbour, to check their mail, water their garden - just the simple things in life.

I hope this makes you think of your dreams and helps you to put into action a plan to make your little corner of the world a little happier, brighter and kinder.
