Good afternoon on a quiet Sunday where the weather is cool and calm and all is well in my little corner of the world. I have had a really quiet day - some time shopping this morning and then a quick Hello to Grace and Henry who are now back home on the Farm and ready for another week of School. It is amazing how quickly to weeks fly by - this is week 2 of term 1 and they seem settled in and happy with their teacher and school generally.
They are so full of energy and enthusiasm and are keen to learn in all aspects of their lives and it seems a shame that they are growing up so quickly and I encourage them to just take one step at a time in their quest for knowledge.
It is really all any of us can do in any aspect of our lives - whether it be with study, change in our lives, recovery from illness or other misfortune. Taking one step at a time allows us to breathe deeply and to maintain a level head and clear thinking.
The clearest thought I have in taking one day at a time was the first time after coming home from months in hospital and standing to get dressed instead of sitting on the edge of the bed. It was one step but it was a big step and it brought much joy.
Take that one step forward in your life and make progress from whatever situation you find yourself in - go ahead - forward and strong and with your head held high.
Be proud of yourself and know that there is always someone there to help you if you stumble - don't be afraid to ask for help and let them help you take that one step at a time.
Thank you for visiting the Musings of My Heart - a short Musings today but a strong one of encouragement to you to take that one step at a time, and to feel the support around you.
Love and hugs,
