ONE OF A KIND

unique
juːˈniːk/
adjective
  1. 1.
being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else.
"the situation was unique in British politics"

Good Afternoon from my lovely City of Adelaide where the temperatures are much more moderate and although the sky is blue and the sun is shining, there is a cool breeze blowing.   Much relief from the very hot recent days.

Today here is 1st. March - a special day - the beginning of Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere and St. David's Day (Patron Saint of Wales.)   A day to welcome the changing of the seasons and to lovingly welcome the
"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness."

For those with Welsh heritage it is a day to celebrate the beauty and lovliness of the very pretty country that is Wales.

Wales is unique in so many ways - the lovely green hills and rugged coastline, the glorious golden daffodil, now unused coal mines and slag heaps and a legacy of music and poetry.

Other countries have sheep grazing on green hills and rugged coastlines, but the coastal villages of Wales make it unique and very beautiful.

Images of Aberdovey on the West Coast of Wales and summer home to some of my relatives

It is a unique village just as the autumn days are unique to where you live -similar, yes, but unique - just as you are unique.

One of a kind - you may well have siblings that look like you do and have certain mannerisms and traits similar to yours, but you are all very different and there is no one quite like you.

You are special, cherished and loved because of the individual you are - the small things that are peculiar to you, your smile, your laugh and your personality.  Even identical twins are different in their persona and on meeting them we find it hard to differentiate but once we get to know them, their quirks and traits make it easy to tell them apart.

Your kindness, ability to love and show care and so many other things are those things that make you unique and so very special.

Go confidently through your days and celebrate your uniqueness and individuality - it is to be cherished and celebrated.  Acknowledge and respect the differences in people around you.  Love people for who they are.

Thank you for visiting the Musings of My Heart and for joining with me in celebrating our uniqueness and individuality.

Love and hugs,
