Good Afternoon

I have had a busy morning - walked early and my cat friend was not about this morning so I was able to walk in half an hour and not worry about getting her home.

 I then went out to coffee with a neighbour which was lovely. 

 We sat for a long time and shared thoughts, hopes and fears.  It was good for both of us and we made the commitment to do it again soon. I hope we do.

I did a bit of shopping and now home in time to be out of the thunder storms which are forecast for this afternoon.   Strong wings are on our agenda too and looking at the elephant grey sky I don't think the storms will be far away - nor the rain.  This is mid-winter so we have to expect this sort of weather.  I much prefer it to the extreme heat which will come our way soon enough.

I bought myself two new satin nightdresses this morning (just to put away in case I have to go back to hospital) and the label really appealed to me

"Next of Skin" - cute eh?  They are washed and hanging on the line now and they could well get a heaven sent "final rinse".  Just the joy of being able to hang washing out without difficulty almost overwhelms me and confirms that I am indeed enjoying better health.
