Welcome to a sunny but very windy Tuesday and there is the promise of rain again.   The good news is that we are a week away from the end of the month and we have already reached our average August rainfall.

We have strong to gale force winds forecast for the next three days and more showers on each day, so winter hasn't left us yet.  The days are lighter earlier and staying lighter later too - so there are changes around for sure.

I am off to the hairdresser shortly and that is always a joy - they are so special they treat me like a Queen and there is always a lovely piping hot coffee for me and some "girlie" talk - they are young and beautiful and full of life.  It is a bit of a drive (and there are Hairdressers much closer) but I like going there and love the fact that once again I am able to drive myself there.

I shall be glad to see the days of Springtime and know that some of my American friends will be sorry to see the end of summer for them, but it never fails to amaze me how the seasons roll on year after year - reminds me of the hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness"

"Summer and winter, springtime and harvest,
sun, moon, and stars in their courses above,
join with all nature in manifold witness
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love."

Time for me to move on and into my day - I send love and care to you all and wish for you a day of calm and pleasant times.

Love and hugs,

"Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence

Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance

Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence

Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance."
