Good Afternoon from a grey sky and windy city of Adelaide - we are promised rain and I put my car outside to get a wash and all we have had it a few drops and all that has done is made the car look worse.  Never mind - it is supposed to rain more during the afternoon.

I think I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel in my "sewing room" I have taken bags of things to "Goodwill" and now all I have to do is sort out my sewing things and get them in place,  vacuum and "settle in".   At stages during the process I began to think I would never get to the end of it but I have.  I want to put some pictures on the wall and make it "mine" - Naomi is delighted with my efforts (because she doesn't have to do the sorting out.)   I have found toys and books and lots of things some of which I can't part with and some has gone on to bring joy to other children.

Today is "Thoughtful Tuesday" and I have been very pensive with the things I have come across and my thoughts have been many.

Today a phone call from a friend I had lost touch with over the years was lovely.   She had visited me in Flinders and I was very pleased to hear from her again today.  Thank you Wendy - it was a very thoughtful thing to do to check on how I am doing.  We chatted for a long time and it was lovely.  We talked about the Primary School days and how well all of the kids are doing with their lives.

I have been really blessed by friends who continue to do thoughtful things for me  - and I am very glad to have them.

The rain has just started and there is that lovely smell of rain on a warm earth - I love it.  I really enjoy the changing of the seasons - yesterday was so very warm and today is much cooler.

It is coffee time for me - I am taking today much quieter and hoping to feel less tired tomorrow.   I am well and have this whole week without medical appointments - they start again next week with blood tests on Tuesday and then Specialist and Clinic on Friday.  It was wonderful to look at my diary for this week and find blank pages.

Don't work too hard, rest and restore and try to find joy in the little things in life.  Take time to smell the roses.

Love and hugs,

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.
