Good Evening from a rainy Adelaide on Friday - it has been quite warm for most of the day but the wind got up late this afternoon and the sky became very grey and now we have rain rain rain.

This is the end of a fairly quiet day but I am feeling very tired.  My Clinic visits to Flinders always leave me feeling weary.  It doesn't make sense really - I don't drive and just sit there when I get there.  Marion Road on a Friday afternoon is so very busy that we are always glad to be home and off the road.

The wonderful Co-ordinators had put my prescription in and all I had to do was collect it.  Thank you girls - it makes life much easier.  It was nice to see everyone and say Hello and I did give them a hard time as they couldn't get a blood pressure reading.  A little perplexing but not a worry.
There is a little tweaking of medication but other than that everything is fine.
My next appointment at Clinic is 10th. December - seven clear weeks.
This is great news - but it is a little like having the training wheels taken of my bike - I am on my own and loving it.   The reassurance that the Transplant Coordinators are on call 24/7 should I need them makes it easier.

I collected a parcel from Clinic left for me by Carol, a very sweet soul who was one of my nurses on 5E after transplant.  The parcel contained some recorded stories (audio books) of James Patterson's work and several other inspirational ones too. Thank you Carol you certainly do take caring to that extra mile.

Here we are at the weekend again and it is hard to know where the time has gone - life is good and going fast.

We had dinner out at The Pub last night and it was great - just a local Hotel - nothing flash but the meal was lovely, service good and not a noisy place and I didn't have to cook or clean up.

Things to do this weekend so it will find me busy in and out on both days. I am just so grateful to be well enough to be able to do things and get out and about again.  I do tire easily, but that's to be expected.

I hope your Friday continues to be a good day and that the weekend is a good one for you.   Wherever you are I hope the weather is kind enough for you to get out and about.  I hope you are well enough to enjoy whatever you do.

Try to find some time to feed your soul and do the things you like to do - read a book, listen to some music, take in a movie or just make a phone call to someone special.

Love and hugs to all,
