GOOD NEWS FROM BURMA

My heart rejoices this morning with the news that Aung San Suu Kyi has been released after so many years of detention.  What a brave lady and how true to her beliefs.  So many years of home detention and done with such courage.

We now need to work towards the release of 2002 other political prisoners held in Burma.  It is indeed a special day to see Aung San Suu Kyi released.

It was lovely for me to have breakfast with family and celebrate not only Alexis birthday but also this wonderful news from Burma - so very nice for me to see the passion for justice shine in the eyes of my family.

So on this Sunday morning from Australia - celebrate with me, celebrate with the people of Burma, celebrate with the world - celebrate freedom itself and be grateful you live in a place where you can choose the political path you will follow without fear of incarceration for your beliefs.

Celebrate life itself.

Love and hugs,.

Linda

If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other.
