THANKFUL THURSDAY

Good Evening,

Here in South Australia it is just going dark at 8.00 in the evening on what has been a strange day - long bursts of sunshine and then quite heavy rain spells. But - this is spring and of course spring can be unreliable.

I find the cool weather beautiful and it can last for as long as it likes - I am not a hot weather girl.

I have been busy doing some crafty sort of things for Christmas and making my table centres, serviette rings and other little things.

As you can see - my theme for my table this year is to be purple and gold and I bought a new outfit for Christmas day and that too is purple.  

Back to Thankful Thursday - I have so much to be thankful for on each and every day.  A warm bed and a birdsong each morning.  Family who are making their way beautifully in the world.

I am thankful for love and laughter - for crossword puzzles and friends who enjoy doing them with me.

For Doctors and Nurses who give so much of themselves and remain positive and caring - they are Angels in comfortable shoes.

For the warmth of sunshine and gentle rain - I now have seven tomatoes on my bush and my red petunias are in bloom.

I give thanks for email and computer contact which allows me contact with friends world wide - the technology fascinates me.

It is quite dark now and I will be going off to "baby bedtime" very soon - so I send to you my love and care and I am also thankful to those of you who take the time to read this blog and check up on how I am doing - you have been and still are a wonderful team.
