SUNDAY MORNING MUSINGS

Good Sunday Morning to you all - from my heart and from my home.

It is a glorious morning - clear blue sky, cool temperature and a gentle wind blowing, birds are singing and the sun is shining.  I am glad to be part of this wonderful world.

I am glad also to have access to the technology that allows me to visit you in your homes in Australia and overseas.  I enjoy my time sharing my life with you all and try to find some interesting things to share with you.

I am waiting to hear from America news about Tater to know if there has been improvement for him.

I am feeling a little better again this morning so am thankful for that.  I am still taking the antibiotics and thus far all is well - it is absolutely terrifying to sit and hold the medication in my hand and know that I need to take it but the uncertainty of exactly how this body will react makes me scared to take it. I am stepping out in faith and trust and hoping for a good result.

This is how my life has to be - my post transplant experience with Stevens Johnson Syndrome has changed my life in probably more ways than my transplant did.   However, looking at the big picture - I am alive and have a good quality of life - yes, there are limitations and I must proceed with caution, but I am alive and well and very thankful.

All of this has made me so very aware of how much other people go through and the support groups I belong to brings the plight of others to my mind on a daily basis and oh to have the wings of an angel and to be able to bring comfort to so many.

This is little Grayson from Ontario, Canada

Grayson needs a new heart and is a very high risk - he is in hospital and desperately ill.  His parents know the risks with surgery but he has been listed for transplant.  Good news today he opened his eyes and is talking today.

He needs a miracle and many people are praying for him.

News from Queensland and Victoria is of the ongoing massive task of clean up and recovery - it is going to be a huge task and people are tired and emotionally distraught. It is my hope and prayer that politics can be put aside and the whole nation can work together for the good of the country.

Another quiet day for me, but I shall travel many miles in cyber space to be involved in many things:  a bookshelf - sharing on line books we have enjoyed and often starting a "bookray"  (I have a book I loved and if someone wants to read it I mail it to them and then they in turn read it and mail it on to the next person on the list.  My first experience with this but I am looking forward to participating.  It is a forming of friendships and a very much cheaper way to read a book.  Paying the postage is much cheaper than buying the book new.

Whatever you do, wherever you travel I wish you safety and warmth.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Love and hugs,
