WELCOME TO FRIDAY - AND THE COMING WEEKEND

Welcome to Friday and a day with somewhat better news.

TC Yasi has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression and is moving over inland Australia - but still causing problems.

We have our inland cities and towns on alert for heavy weather.  Flooding is happening over the coast of Queensland and there is such a lot of work to be done with cleaning up when it is safe enough to send SES, Volunteers and the Troops in to clean up.

Sadly there has been one reported death of a young man who died while using a generator and had insufficient ventilation and there are two people missing in Cardwell.

Lots of boats have been tossed around and broken up and there is so much devastation to homes and businesses.

We have such a lot of work to do to get life back to some sort of reality for our Queensland friends.

Today sees the end of a busy appointment week for me with my appointment at Flinders with my Specialist and I will get the results of my blood tests and bone density scan.

I get a little "twitchy" when I have to go back to Flinders but I am sure I will be fine - no reason to think otherwise.

I hope my snow bound friends are doing okay and are able to dig themselves out of their snow drifts.

Hopefully I will be able to have a brighter, happier blog soon and that we have
news of better days,

Take care and be safe wherever you are in our beautiful world - enjoy your day - whatever you are doing.

Love and hugs,
