WEDNESDAY 81 WEEKS AND IT'S INTERNATIONAL LOLLIPOP DAY

Lesley Gore - Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.

Good Morning and welcome to Wednesday and the sun is shining in my little corner of the world, although it doesn't seem to have much warmth in it.   Cold fingers and cold toes here.

It is 81 weeks since my transplant and my days are indeed filled with Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows.  I am blessed indeed to be alive and well.   I live in a beautiful country and I have so much to be thankful for.

It is International Lollipop Day and I have no idea who thinks these things up and I know it is a little nonsensical - but if it brings a smile to some one's day - then that's fine with me.

Go out and buy some lollipops and give them to your family, friends, workmates and just check out the smiles they generate.  It is okay for us to be a little silly at times.   I hope you do it and I would love to hear the reactions you get.  Some will be rather Bah Humbug about it but others may catch the spirit of it and spread the joy.

Listen to Lesley Gore singing the song - those of you who remember it will enjoy it and if it is new to you - you are obviously very young.  It is a bright and bubbly piece of music guaranteed to stick in your head for the rest of the day.

Parts of our world are in such turmoil that I do think we have to take each chance we get to bring a little piece of joy to those close to us.    Have fun.   !!!

Wherever you are and whatever your tasks today try to do it with a thankful heart and to pass the happiness on.

Have a wonderful day, a joy filled day and may there be sunshine, lollipops and rainbows for you.

Thanks for visiting and reading "The Musings from My Heart."

Love and hugs,

It may not be sunny outside but it is in my heart.
Thank you Mr Lollipop Man

I am glad there is sunshine in your heart and I hope the song doesn't stick in your head and drive you silly.

Stay warm and have a good day.

Love and thanks,
Linda.

Lollipops remind me of The Wizard of Oz and the Lollipop Guild. Sadly, I don't have any in the house...

It is also International Neuroblastoma Awareness Week...
